Micro-current works on the complex muscles (as well as the spindle cells and Golgi tendon organs) under the skin which control facial expressions. As these muscles weaken and sag with age, the skin on the face also droops. As the muscles regain tone and tighten up, the skin they are attached to also tighten up. Micro-current also increases circulation to the facial skin, improving the texture and elasticity of the skin. This improved skin quality, results in younger looking skin. Using LED Light, red light focuses on increasing circulation to the dermis bringing more nutrients to the area of concern. The treatment stimulates lymphatic drainage, leaving the skin smooth with improved tone and texture. This treatment can help control cellulite when used on a monthly maintenance schedule.
Cellulite treatments are enhanced by utilizing micro-current to increase blood circulation, metabolism, and lymphatic flow, all of which help to combat the fatty pockets which settle into colonies of excess fat beneath the surface of the skin.
